Puppy dog update
It’s hard to believe we’ve had our dogs going on 2 years!
Molly, our beautiful black lab mix, is almost 3 years old. She loves digging and snow. She loves sneaking up on the couch when no one’s looking. She loves dancing around the house with us and peaking her head in the shower curtain! She also likes to lick stuff…books, magazines, your face, etc. And she LOVES licking vanilla ice cream off the ice cream scooper.
She is now emotionally attached to her sister Moxie and cries when we take Moxie somewhere without her. She loves visiting her cousin Jackson, my Mom’s border collie mix, because they get free reign of the house and chase the cats. And she loves snuggling with/laying on her sister!
- Molly – Winter 2010/2011
Moxie, our shih tzu is approximately 6-7 years old now. She is very social and likes strangers almost immediately. She still has allergies but we’re able to manage them without meds mostly. She likes to sneak into her sister’s dog food and imitates everything Molly does. She’s turned into quite the jumper and likes to jump up on her Dad and lay on top of his laptop when he’s least expecting it!
She really likes to meet and play with other dogs. She likes Jackson and she also likes Ceecee, my grandmother’s miniature poodle. She likes to chase squirrels and other dogs (to “meet” them) even when they’re not friendly. She’s my little cuddle-bunny unless she hears the leash/anything that could possibly be food and then it’s straight for the kitchen!
