Random rambling ahead (just saying):

  • Prince William and Kate Middleton got married this morning and are now the Duke and Duchess of something. Not that it matters, because they’re going to be the King and Queen someday.
  • I made Clint push me out of bed at the ungodly hour of 5:30 so I could watch said wedding. She looked so beautiful! Did anyone else catch the part where William mouths “You look beautiful” after she reached the altar?
  • I was literally squeaking because I had no words while watching it. It was like “The Princess Diaries” and “The Prince & Me” and every other princess movie where they get coronated/married except 10x more AWESOME.

Now…non-wedding related:

  • I opened an Ebay store and I’m doing way better than I did with having an Etsy store. Mainly because I don’t have to make stuff myself. Of my original $12 capital (big spender, I know!), I’ve made $15 after calculating out commissions, fees, and shipping. Looks like the tax man may see some of that.
  • I’m also keeping records, that’s how I know I’m making money. Yay!
  • I’m squirelling Clint away for the weekend, despite that our original plans got canceled to go to Corning because of my Mom twisting her ankle and not being able to dog sit.
  • After 5 failed attempts at keeping my multiple planned trips from Clint, I put my foot down and told him, “Don’t ask me anything, but you need to do X-Y-Z to get ready.” My face gets all red when asked incriminating questions. I could never be a spy.
  • It is going to be a fun weekend because I have getaway trips for the dogs planned. In addition to ours.

And Clint, because I KNOW you’re reading this, we could be doing one of the following, or none of them:

Paris

Hiking

Washington DC

Bed & Breakfast

Or maybe I’ll succumb to camping…

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Knoebels!

I live in Central PA. And when you live here, it is an obligation to go to Knoebel’s at least once in your life. I personally have been at least 10 times, including in-utero. It’s the only family-owned, no admission, free parking, free picnic, and campground around. Or I should say the best.

Anyway, Eddie’s home and I really wanted to go and take Clint. No one at work could believe he’d never been! He grew up very close to Hersey Park, so I guess I’ll let it slide. We went on Saturday and I’m proud to report that no one was left and we all managed to get along. (Trust me, that’s a miracle.)

We’ve been really busy, Eddie’s only here for another week and then he’s going to Germany for 3 years. In addition, Clint and I went down and stayed in Harrisburg Tuesday night (after stopping at his parents’ for dinner) and then visited Gettysburg on Wednesday (with another stop back to the parents’ for free produce and homemade strawberry jelly).

Here are some quick shots from Knoebel’s Amusement Resort.

By the way, I totally didn’t know Eddie was giving me bunny ears. It was a miracle to get him to take the photo.

Plus Knoebel’s was really cool Memorial Day weekend. They gave the free all-day pass with wooden roller coasters to active servicemen and women with ID.

And also, my Mom wore white pants which she promptly got pizza sauce on. (I don’t know if you can see that in the photo.)
