With my migraines, I have had to learn to respect my body and know my limits. I will always have them. I will always have to take medication for them.
I have learned that it’s okay to say no to things because I need to respect what my body cannot do… like eat chocolate or hot dogs on a migraine prone day. Or lie down to help the medication work at its best so I only need to take one dose.
I have also learned that it’s OK that I have them. It’s one of my challenges and I can take it in stride or I can let it stress me out and exacerbate the condition.
