Reflection: Parable of the Lost Sheep

I love the message of this parable because of the following scripture:

10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

— Luke 15:10

Jesus is the master of the flock, the Shepherd for the souls who inhabit the earth. Those who follow him and his teachings will be cared for and provided for through eternity.

But what if you haven’t had the chance to accept the gospel? Do not fear, it is not too late! He is looking for you and is ready to bring you into the fold.

Angels of the Lord are waiting to celebrate you! ANGELS!

You may read this and say, but, wait, I’m the 99 the Master left alone! That’s not fair… it’s not that at all. The love of God is already yours. And it is your duty to help lead others down the way to eternal life.

God is real. We are His children and He loves us.

All good things in the world occur through the Holy Spirit. Charity (the pure love of Christ) is there for all.

It is up to us to share the good news, love each other, and serve. God’s love is not to be hidden away and boxed up, but thrown up into the air like confetti in celebration!!
